As the world heads towards the Yuletide season, Iceman is getting the party started early with the release of his new single, Jam Jam Party.

The infectious song is being released by Penthouse Records on the Peenie Wallie rhythm, which also features tracks from Dalton Harris, Shuga, Exco Levi and RC.

It is already getting airplay in England, New York, California and Australia, where it is generating a lot of positive feedback.

"The song is doing well on the international market. I did a number of dubs, singles and drops for deejays around the world, like DJ Shag out of Bakersfield, California; Richie Poo in New York; Mumma Trees in Australia. David Rodigan really loves the song in England," Iceman said.

"He said to Donovan Germaine that he really loves the song, especially Slash's song and Shuga's song, and those are really assured of airplay in England."

Iceman said the rhythm brought back memories of a nicer time in dancehall, and that was the inspiration for the lyrics.

"The rhythm kicked off an old-school vibe with me, and I was saying, how can I swing this kind of vibe? And it just hit me, like a jam jam vibe," he said.

"Remember back in the day when there were a lot of stage shows. Man a smoke dem weed, man a sell peanut, man a walk through the dance with them stalk, and the police come and a try lock off the dance and the people say, 'nah man'. So I just tried to capture that real party vibe, that old-school vibe to bring back the fun in the party. Not just a bag a man stand up over deh so and a bag a girl over deh so, but everybody just interacting and jamming to the vibe."

The song is currently available on iTunes.
