Reggae Boyz head coach Paul Hall said the football public needs to show its support for the national team tonight if it wants him to remain in the role.

Jamaica face Suriname in their return game of Group A of the Concacaf Nations League A at 8 p.m., looking to better their 1-1 draw last Saturday.

Hall threatened to resign amid tension in the camp between players and Jamaica Football Federation General Secretary Dalton Wint in Suriname last Saturday. But he told journalists gathered in the press conference yesterday ahead of the game that he will be in the technical area tonight, however, he would not definitely speak about his intentions beyond the game.

"I will be on the sidelines tomorrow giving my all and it is really important that everybody is behind this team," Hall said. "But I will definitely be there tomorrow 150 per cent.

"I have no thoughts apart from this game. I want like the public to show me that they want me. I would like the support to come out. So I am really asking.

"It's a hard thing to refuse when you know you have people behind you. So can we get everybody in the ground to really push the team forward?

"I want the support. I want them to show us that they are on our side. I want them to show how much we mean to them.

"So let us make this place (National Stadium) a fortress and show people how we do things at 'The Office'."

Looking ahead to the game, Hall is concerned about the number of chances conceded on Saturday and said the focus for this game will be tightening up the defence.

"It needs to be addressed," he said. We need to keep scores down.

"I thought we were going to do it against Suriname, and we didn't. So that is the challenge for the players, can we keep the clean sheet?

"There will be chances for them, but if we score more than them and get the three points, that is the key. But yes that is a target for us, keeping a clean sheet."
