Lucky gamer hits Lotto jackpot on first try

Winner of the $45 million Lotto jackpot, M. Turner, has revealed that this was her very first time purchasing a ticket.

On Thursday, Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) announced that Turner, its most recent Lotto winner, had come forward to claim the $45 million jackpot. Turner revealed that she randomly selected numbers for her first Lotto purchase and ended up selecting the winning combination of 03, 09, 10, 31, 32, 35 drawn on June 10.

“I still can’t believe it,” Turner said. “I just decided to try my luck, and it turned out to be the best decision I ever make.” She learnt of her win while watching the live draw.

“When I saw the numbers drawn and I checked my ticket, I was in disbelief. Me feel nervous, excited, happy, everything,” Turner said.

She said that she intends to use her winnings to finally accomplish her goal of owning her own home.

“I’ve been wanting to buy my own home for years now but the money just wasn’t there. Now I can build a nice home and rest easy under my own roof.”

This marks the third Lotto jackpot hit of 2026. In January, a Westmoreland player won the $71 million jackpot with the numbers 06, 20, 28, 32, 35, 36, and in May, a Portland player won $81 million with lucky numbers 02, 15, 24, 30, 35, 36.
